Just finished my first mixed media devotional bottle.  I'm new to wire beading but that didn't matter, as the bottle was so much fun to do.

Bits and Pieces are collages done with what ever was in my stash. Theses are small in size and easily framed for hanging.
My plan is to make put the supplies to make more collages in a old suitcase, along with glue and paint, then I will be ready those spur of the moment creative projects to work on over the summer.

When I have 20 paintings done I will start my etsy account and put them up for sale.  I plan to sell most of the work for under $20.00 each.  Just want to have a little fun and make a little money.

New to the Gallery Wall by Vonnie (lld)
Go Flow Dance
Acrylic on canvas  24" x 30"            $375.00 unframed
Curves and circles were dancing around.  At first I thought this was going to be about foods but then the music started and this is the rest of the story.  Since this is an abstract painting just let go of what you know and go with the flow.  Enjoy!

I mixed this product with gesso and molding paste as a background for several paintings and am very please with it's aid in helping spread the paint mix onto the canvas. It created a nice texture covered surface to work on.

Finished up some paintings and added them to this blog. The camera person didn't do a very good job but at least I'm finish with them, though I am never really finished because I have more then one painting going at the same time.  I am trying not to think of Gardens and Gardening as it is very distracting to this artist.  Once my hands are in the soil I want to be outdoors.  I may set up a studio location in the back shed so that it feels like outdoors .....will have to think about that.
The large canvases are stretched and two have the 1st background coat of paint on them and one of them has the idea I have in mind painted in.  Much more left to do.  So far I like what I see, but until its over it isn't over.  I plan to take pictures as I move along the process to document the different stages of this.  I've never painted a true series before so it could be interesting at least to me!

December 31, 2011 -- Great ending for a busy year (sold a painting that I really like to someone who share my view of it.  Hard to let go but must always remember " To many paintings, not enough walls ".  It is a great feeling to head into the New Year with.   I can feel the art work bubbling under the surface of my life.

What fun to be in my studio, walking all over my Jackson Pollack inspired floor.  It is the largest canvas I've created on and was also such a self expressive and freeing  experience.  I get good vibes when ever I am in this room.  Can't help but smile.

This month I have several paintings hanging in the Stomping Grounds coffee shop in Staples.  Also have a gallery hanging of my paintings at the Artful Market.
There are several paintings in the works, in my studio and I have a couple ready for framing.
New in the Studio.
The floor in my studio got a new look at the end of 2011.  It has an abstract look inspired by photos of Jackson Pollack paintings.  This is by far the largest painting I've ever done.  11 1/2'  by  19'. Painting this large was thrill. I'm glad I own the floor.
