Saturday's Eye Opener

This weekend I attended a NAMI workshop.  I met some really great people who have also dealt with mental illness themselves or have a family member with this diagnosis.  It is so difficult to get the right care and treatment for this "dis-ease".   I can't wait to get into some of the information and reading suggestions.  There is so much to learn.  It is my wish to find the way to tell the story of this struggle, its difficulties and its times of progress and enlightenment. I pray that it will be helpful for my daughter to have this group be part of her life, as will as a shoulder to lean on as I support her my life.  This meeting has given me more hope then I have had for a longtime.  Perhaps there are people who will understand her and lend her support.  She wants to recover, to be productive and to laugh again.  She will make it if she is mindful of her health and has the support she needs.  Soon she will be leaving the care of others to take care of herself.  My wish is that all her dreams of  recovery come true. She deserves it.

Wishing

Wish I had a little more "geek" in me.   I want to change the size and location of my painting but HOW?????  If you are reading this blog just understand that I don't really have a clue as to what I'm doing.  Lets see what happens next.
